Nov 26, 2009 · Hi All, I installed Debian Squeeze 64-bit on Asus Eee PC 1215B. After some workaround I managed to get most of the hardware working properly, except hotkeys. Remove both cables from connectors. STEP 19. Remove two screws securing the hard drive. Lift up the right side of the hard drive and slide it to the right to disconnect the hard drive from the motherboard. STEP 20. The hard drive has been removed. My Asus Eee PC 1015PX had a regular 2.5″ 250GB SATA hard drive installed.
May 29, 2014 · Go back to device manager & look for the other device section. Expand, and right click -> Properties on the one that you mentioned. click the Details Tab, and choose Hardware Ids from the property dropdown menu. This will show you a VEN_#### & DEV_####
Jun 11, 2011 · Eee PC 1001P and 1005PX with UNR 10.04 confirmed with the backport wireless module sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install linux-backports-modules-wireless-lucid-generic sudo reboot. Realtek Card. The 701SD uses a Realtek rtl8187se instead of the usual Atheros. Hopefully this thread fom Launchpad Answers might help
